News sites, trade publications and aggregators can take press releases from founders, small businesses and creators on the E-WIREPRESS newswire, in full and for free. A person reviews every newsroom before its releases reach the wire, and newsrooms can opt out of partner sites at any time.

Launches, funding, people, events and more. Take every topic or just the ones your readers want.

Take-downs built in

A withdrawn list tells you when a release is pulled, so your copy never outlives the original.

The rules

  • Publish each release whole, under its own headline. Trim nothing that changes its meaning.
  • Show the credit line we send with every release, linked to the original.
  • Label it as a press release, not your own reporting, and set the original as the canonical link.
  • Check the withdrawn list at least once a day, and take a withdrawn release down within 24 hours.
  • Keep your key private. Anyone with it can pull releases as your site.

Sites that break them lose their key.

The feed

Once your site is approved, we email your key (it starts ewp_). Each key can make 60 requests a minute.

Gives releases, oldest first, and next_since: send it as since next time to get only what's new. Without since, the newest from the last week. Add topic= (launch, funding, milestone, partnership, event, creator, hiring, award) or limit= (up to 50). Each release has body_html, body_text, media, the original url for your canonical link, and the credit and credit_url to show with it.
